I’m a graphic and interactive designer with a serious passion for all things creative. I’ve spent years fine-tuning my craft, merging my love for art, history, and technology into designs that are more than just eye-catching—they’re experiences.
A Blend of Tradition and Innovation
Toulouse Lautrec's bold posters, the wide-ranging work of Saul Bass, and Herb Lubalin's innovative typography are the foundations of my work. Mix the precision of Swiss Graphic Design with the rebellious aesthetics of David Carson, Vaughan Oliver, and Chris Ashworth, and you'll have a good idea of where my inspiration comes from.
But I'm always on the hunt for what's next. When used right, technology can expand the limits of creativity. That's why I'm dedicated to exploring the intersection of AI and design, not just to stay current and relevant, but to forge my way forward towards the future of design.
Designer, Surfer, and Environmental Advocate
When I'm not working on professional design, you'll probably find me by the coast riding waves or hiking through the hills. This is where and when I put it all together—for me, it's a crucial, unavoidable part of the creative process. I've always felt a deep connection to the environment, and it's a theme that often finds its way into my work. Whether through sustainable design practices or advocating for remote work to reduce our carbon footprints, I'm all about making a positive impact.
My Vision
After more than twenty years working in San Francisco for some of the most prominent players in Silicon Valley, I'm in the process of understanding what it takes to build a new design studio, Estúdio Alto da Glória (eag.des.br), a fluid space between San Francisco and Curitiba, Brazil, where creativity meets technology, and where I can bring together a team of like-minded creatives who are as connected to design and innovation as I am. My goal is to create a hub for modern design that's not just visually powerful, but also meaningful—design that sparks a conversation and inspires change, engaging our audience in a dialogue about the future of design.
